  • Fine hair called lanugo begins to form on your baby's head.
  • Your baby is just beginning to practice sucking and swallowing.
  • Your baby now has fingerprints.
  • Your baby is swallowing amniotic fluid, which contains bits of skin and lanugo. As a result, the baby is making meconium in the intestinal tract and which will become baby's first poop.
  • Your baby can grimace, squint and smile.
  • Your baby's arms are now proportional to his/her body.
